The Master’s Program in English Language Education is under the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. We offer programs for anyone interested in studying English language education at the master’s (graduate) level. 

Our program has several distinctive features, including: 
(a) our location in the nation’s capital, which provides easy access to academic facilities beyond the campus; 
(b) an interdisciplinary approach grounded in theory, sensitive to context, and supported by an up-to-date curriculum relevant to the needs of the workforce and industry while addressing current global issues; 
(c) program specializations that cover education, English language teaching, linguistics, curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment for specific purposes in English language education, all of which can be integrated under research projects that accelerate learning within one year of coursework and one year of research; 
(d) flexible modes of study tailored to students’ preferences, delivered in small classes with complete and modern facilities, fostering close interaction between students and highly qualified, experienced lecturers; 
(e) being part of a faculty with diverse concentrations of study and multiple achievements recognized both nationally and internationally. 

We aim for our graduates to achieve English proficiency equivalent to CEFR level A1 and to benefit from our partnerships with universities in Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. Through intensive, future-oriented training and professional preparation, our graduates are highly competent and ready to pursue careers in their chosen fields. 

Many of our alumni have been employed in educational institutions and schools, teaching from elementary to secondary levels as well as universities; while others have chosen to pursue careers abroad.
